PP is the abbreviation of Polypropylene. The Chinese name is polypropylene. Polypropylene has good chemical stability. Except that it can be attacked by concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, it is relatively stable to various other chemical reagents, but low molecular weight aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatics Hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons can make polypropylene soften and swell. At the same time, its chemical stability increases with the increase of crystallinity, so polypropylene is suitable for making various chemical pipes and fittings, and has good anti-corrosion effect.
However, its shortcomings are also relatively obvious, temperature resistance difference, low temperature impact strength is low, fragile; susceptible to aging by the action of light, heat and oxygen. It is more suitable to be used as a double sleeve inner pipe, and it is often easily damaged when used at the pipe connection.
Therefore, there is an urgent demand for high-quality corrosion-resistant products on the market. Teflon is favored by the fluid industry due to its excellent corrosion resistance and chemical stability, and is regarded as an ideal material for chemical transportation systems. But how to successfully introduce Teflon to the connector is a big problem in the industry. Shanghai Weilan successfully developed the first-generation fluorine-lined connector after years of research and development based on the accumulation of its knowledge and experience.
The first generation of fluorine-lined joints is made by sintering (melting and recasting) Teflon (PFA, FEP) particles on the surface of stainless steel under high temperature heating, and then finishing the joint to obtain the finished joint product. The first-generation fluorine-lined joints have strong corrosion resistance and smooth inner walls.
